When it comes to the teething process that babies have to go through, some babies will take it different from others. Also, the age will differ. Some babies go through the teething process at three months of age (maybe younger) while others go through the teething process at 8 months of age (maybe older). If your baby is teething, then the baby may be a bit fussier than they normally are. The teething process can turn a quite baby into a baby who fusses a lot. In order to know if the baby is teething, there are some signs you will need to look for.


When you baby is teething, they may have difficulty sleeping. Your baby may also wake up in the middle of the night because the pain that teething brings. Teething is known for stimulating the drooling process. Keep in mind that some babies will drool more than other babies. If you’re lucky, then your baby will not drool a lot because drooling can cause the skin around your babies’ mouth to get moist and could cause a rash. When the baby is teething, the gums will be more sensitive and could become swollen. You might even come across small bumps on the babies gums. This is where the babies teeth are trying to come through, so don’t sound your alarms. As the teeth get closer to the surface, your babies gums may become more painful, which will make your baby even fussier. In order to relieve the discomfort that teething brings to the baby, the baby will want to teeth on something. The pressure from chewing will relieve the gums.
