When the baby is teething, they will often be more slobbery than normal and they will be chewing on every object that is within their reach. The babies’ gums are tender and could be swollen from teething and will sometimes appear to be red. Teething is uncomfortable for the baby, therefore you should step in and help ease the discomfort from your babies teething process. You could rub the babies’ gums with your clean, wet finger or use a table spoon that is cold in order to massage the babies’ gums. There are also child teething rings that you can put in the freezer and make it cold for your baby to chew on. The coolness on your babies’ gums will help with the teething process. Just make sure you do not freeze the teething ring because you do not want to cause frost bite to your babies’ mouth.
